Training Up The Next Generation of Worship Leaders

Ocean’s Edge School is an intensive 10-month program providing relevant training and discipleship for the next generation of Christian musicians and worship leaders. Ocean’s Edge employs an exciting, practical, hands-on approach to ministry training in an environment which combines personal mentoring and discipleship with cutting edge music, technology, and leadership training. Our innovative approach will equip students for a lifetime of ministry. Our hope is to help students fulfill God’s call in their life by equipping students spiritually, technically, and artistically.



Ocean’s Edge School curriculum is based upon three core areas critical to ministry leaders: Leadership, Discipleship, and Worship. In our leadership courses, students learn the Biblical approach of leadership in worship and ministry, develop communication and team building skills, and learn to effectively manage a ministry team. The classroom, the community, and the experience at OES create a discipleship environment that encourages students to grow spiritually, build relationships, discover their leadership capabilities, and invest in their gifts. Our worship and music classes are instructed by professionals and guest artists in a variety of classroom, individual, and ensemble settings with an emphasis on applicable skills in a real world setting. At OES, it’s all about creating an environment where each student will thrive and be pushed to their best!

In addition to courses in the core areas of Leadership, Discipleship, and Worship, students choose one Creative Arts Track as an area of emphasis. Here’s a little more information about each track:

Worship Leading- The Worship Program provides hands-on training essential to modern worship leaders. This track includes private instrument and vocal lessons from experienced musicians, mentoring from professional worship leaders, and placement in ensembles that regularly lead in a variety of ministry settings.

Artist Development-The Artist Development Program will prepare students for a career as an independent artist or musician in the Christian music industry. Courses in songwriting, production, and music, along with a variety of performance and recording opportunities provide a creative atmosphere to develop style and a unique voice.



Ocean’s Edge is located on-site at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale with over 80 acres of facilities at their main campus, as well as multiple satellite campus locations dedicated to the mission of making and training disciples.
